When planning a wedding, you are going to have a TON of question for your wedding DJ. Below are some of the questions I get asked the most. Don’t see your question here? No problem o, send me an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
DO YOU TAKE REQUESTS?
I am very flexible with this. Do you want to allow your guests to make requests? If so, then I can take requests. Personally I think requests are important, these are typically how the most important songs are played into the wedding. You and your friends or family may share a special song that didn’t make it to your playlist but that’s okay because your old college buddy hasn’t forgot about it! These songs are usually the ones that create another memory or highlight at your wedding reception.
CAN WE GIVE YOU A LIST OF SONGS?
ABSOLUTELY! I am happy to take a playlist of songs you would like me to play. This is YOUR wedding and you will hear the songs you want to hear. How many do I need? Usually 5 – 10 songs will work best.
HOW MUCH EXPERIENCE DO YOU HAVE?
I have been providing a DJ/Emcee services to a lot of different weddings for a number of years. I have worked with a lot of wedding professionals, some of them are the best in our industry. I am always learning and with my years of experience, I can pass along tips and advice to help you with your big day.
WHAT DO YOU WEAR?
I wear all black clothes. They are clean and pressed. Oh… I wear a White Tie too 🙂
WHAT STYLE OF MUSIC DO YOU LIKE?
I like it all… and I mean that. I like a wide variety of music from Linkin Park all the way to Aretha Franklin. Disco, Pop, Rock, R&B… you name it and I like it. I believe music can touch people in incredible ways. It can influence you to dance, it reminds you of a different time in your life. I hear old classics on the radio today and I think of memories from when I was a child. Music can change your mood with the snap of a finger, it’s extremely powerful.
WHAT KIND OF EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
All of my equipment is high-end, professional equipment. Bad speakers can ruin a first dance, a bad microphone can ruin a speech. Equipment at an wedding is very important and I only use top of the line stuff.
Yes I do! I have full liability insurance. I have never used it before and do not intend on ever using it. A lot of venues will require your vendors to have this and White Tie DJs have it. One more thing to cross off your list.
